Have you tried the Sidar Jewelspun Aran Yarn ? It's quite nice yarn. Lots of fun colors :) The first time I purchased it I made the mistake of buying a really dark color. It's almost impossible to see the stitches with the dark colors. Even the lighter colors can be a bit busy which makes the stitch definition difficult to see. The yarn is lovely. Every year I donate boxes of scarves & cowls to different charities. It's cold up here in Canada in the winter lol. These are a matching set. I was using some left over yarn I happened to have. A new pattern! A few years ago I purchased some Paintbox Yarns Chunky Pots in 2 colors. It was labelled as #5 weight yarn, but it's more like a #4. Online the colors looked lovely and one of them turned out great. Not very happy with this color. I thought it would be long color changes but it's more variegated.
