Have you tried the Sidar Jewelspun Aran Yarn? It's quite nice yarn. Lots of fun colors :)
The first time I purchased it I made the mistake of buying a really dark color. It's almost impossible to see the stitches with the dark colors. Even the lighter colors can be a bit busy which makes the stitch definition difficult to see.
The yarn is lovely. No splitting, easy crochet with and makes a stunning finished project. So far I have only made shawls with this yarn. You do need 2 skeins for a descent size shawl.

I purchased these 3 fun colours quite a while ago and finally got around to making some shawls with the yarn. All the shawls I crochet get donated either to a hospice or to seniors in assisted living.
Many months ago I had asked in my fb group how people like to make shawls. The vast majority preferred short rows, so each of these 3 shawls is crocheted in short rows. Each pattern is easily adjusted to any width or length. Easy repeat stitch patterns for quick projects.
This is the first shawl: Diamond Filet Shawl. You can purchase it for 20% off from January 6 - 8. Use this coupon code: Diamond20
The bundle can be purchased now as well. The other 2 patterns will be added in March & April. The bundle can be purchased for 30% off the regular price if purchased separately. No coupon code needed, this will be the price of the bundle.
What do you do with the shawls you make? Gifts? Donations? I would love to know! If you make one of all of the shawls I would also love to have you add project pages to Ravelry linked to the patterns :) It's so much fun seeing what yarns other people use when crocheting my patterns.
NOTE: If you are in the CMD Pattern Club - the bundle will be added to your Ravelry library :)
HAPPY CROCHET MY FRIENDS!

What a gorgeous pattern! I need to start it soon!
